Everyday I read (skim) no less than 500 blog posts using my Google RSS reader. Some articles are on marketing, some are on business, others are on golf (although I think all the golf blogs basically repost whatever Geoffshackelford.com is writing on – Tiger Woods infidelity at this moment), and a large number of financial blogs from all over North America.

“If you don’t feel comfortable with putting the $10,000 that you have saved over the last couple of years into the down payment of your home, why don’t you take advantage of the Free Down Payment Mortgage from Scotia Bank,” I said to Kirk as we discussed the pros and cons of putting all of his liquid assets into his down payment.

I’m really not sure where this guy found the time to do this, but its an interesting way of looking at where US real estate prices have been. Enjoy.

The new site is aimed at informing the Canadian consumer about the benefits of using a realtor in both buying and selling circumstances. With categories ranging from “dream home checklist” to “go it alone or use a realtor?” the site is an informative portal on why to use a professional and what to expect when buying or selling your home.

The site uses a flash technology that makes it completely interactive, right down to a video tour guide who even taps her fingers while waiting for you to make a decision. Don’t worry though, she is very patient.

If you are even thinking about buying or selling a home in the near future, this site is a must see, even if you are already familiar with how a realtor helps.
